Skip and I came up through the ranks together in the Canonsburg music scene. As a fellow bassist, I admired him for his talent, enthusiasm and ability to make people feel like they were special. But above all, because he was a decent human being and a gentleman in every sense of the word. I will miss my friend. I extend my sincere and heartfelt sympathy to the entire family and his many friends.

My deepest condolences go out to the family of "Skip". I remember him so well. He always had a smile on his face and seemed to enjoy life. My earliest memory of Skip was when he was a lifeguard at Town Park Swimming Pool. So long ago, and yet it seems like yesterday. May he rest in peace and live on in your hearts always.
