Our sympathies to the entire family. It seems all the good ones are being called home to serve at the right hand of the father. I remember delivering the Observer Reporter with Mike and your dad would be there to greet me at 5:00 am ready to get the day's news before he headed off to work. Dad,
I can't put into words how much you mean to me! I feel like I am your Son and not an in -law. From our beginning where you turned me away at the door when I brought my Soul mate (Doris) some Spot Pizza ( I get it you were protecting your daughter from the Big City (Brentwood)Boy). To asking you for her hand to be my Wife, letting me play on the club softball team, to watching how much you Love our babies (Joshua, Chelsea and Austin), they have so many wonderful memories and that took your time and patience to build. You were so dependable and genuine. Material meant nothing to you, you were all about your family! You hated my camera but if you had one of your Grandkids in your arms I knew I could get you to let me capture the moment. Who is going to bring the ice or clean the pool before our parties? Who is going to keep Doris in line? Dad I could write a book on our relationship and it would be about Love, we never had cross words and we both knew without saying a word how much we Loved and liked each other. I am so glad you are with Mum now, I know that when she passed she took a whole lot of you with her. I hope you both are dancing to "For the Good Times" in Heaven, tell my Mom I miss her when you see her! I wait patiently until I am called Home to see you all again, Forever!
