Anthony Kris DeMarino, 53, of Houston, died Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in his home.

He was born November 2, 1962, in Washington, a son of James and Carol Shelly DeMarino.

He was a 1980 graduate of Chartiers High School. Mr. DeMarino proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Central Assembly of God, and worked as an assembler for Catepillar. He was an avid Steelers fan, and loved his Jack Russel Terrier, Buddy.

Surviving are his parents, James and Carol DeMarino, of Canonsburg; brothers, James DeMarino, and his wife Tami, of Canonsburg, Kyle DeMarino, and his wife Jillian, of Canonsburg; sister, Kimise Volpe, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; nieces, Heather, Natalie, Mikayla, Arianna, Kristin, and Nicole; nephews, Billy and Andrew; several aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 6-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.

Services will be held Tuesday at 9:30am, in the funeral home, with Pasto William R. Volpe, officiating.

Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, with full military rites accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, post 191, honor guard.
