Ruth O'Bosky Obituary

Ruth Irene O'Bosky, 77, of Canonsburg, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born May 16, 1946, in Washington, a daughter of George and Ruth Reynolds Kline. Ruth was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.  She treasured her 3 cats and loved feeding the birds. She was one of Elvis Presley's biggest fans and enjoyed watching her Pittsburgh Penguins. She will fondly be remembered as "Coach Gammie" to all those she coached softball to over the years. On June 11, 1966, she married her husband, James E. O'Bosky, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage, who died October 20, 2007. Surviving are her son, James (Michelle) O'Bosky II and granddaughter Hannah O'Bosky of McDonald; her brother, Theodore Kline, of Florida; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, George Kline. Friends will be received Thursday 2-8pm, at Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
