Richard C. Wallace, 83, of Hickory, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
He was born April 25, 1939, in Titusville, a son of Chandler and Evelyn Hodges Wallace.
Mr. Wallace proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
He was a lifetime member of the Mt. Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of the Richard Vaux Masonic Lodge #454, as a 32nd degree Mason.
Mr. Wallace enjoyed gardening, could fix anything, and especially enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as an Electricial Engineer at R.C.A and A.R.L., and its affiliates.
On February 20, 1965, he married his loving wife, Carol Dixon Wallace, with whom he shared over 57 years of marriage.
Surviving in addition to his wife Carol, are his daughters, Kimberly (Lucian) Livolsi, of Canonsburg, Jennifer (Jeff) Brezinski, of Hickory; his sister, Carolyn (Joe) Wiggins, of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Tyler (Hannah) Brezinski, Zachary (Caitlin) Brezinski, Holly Livolsi, Jacob Livolsi; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Wallace.
Friends will be received Saturday, 10-1pm, in the Hickory United Evangelical Presbyterian Chruch, 210 Main Street, Hickory, PA, 15340, where services will be held at 1pm. Burial will follow in the Mt. Prospect cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
