Claudia S. DiCio Holt, 89, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, January 17, 2021.
She was born May 14, 1931, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Donato and Claudine Simonetti DiCio.
Mrs. Holt was Catholic and attended the St. Patrick worship site of St. Oscar Romaro Parish. She was active in her church, and was a member of Catholic Daughters.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a secretary for Hepner's Funriture and Sappas Painting .
Mrs. Holt was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker, and was active cub scouts as a Den Mother.
On August 19, 1950, she married her husband of over 66 years, Wilbur C. Holt, who died June 24, 2017.
Surviving are her sons, Edward (Evelyn) Holt, of Canonsburg, Wilbur (JoAnn) Holt, Jr., of Wilmington, North Carolina; her daughter, Robin (Malcolm) Harrison, of Walnut Creek, California; her grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie) Holt, Kayla Holt, Jenna Holt, and Julia Harrison; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Holt and William Holt; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank DiCio, Mario DiCio, Joseph DiCio, and her sisters, Ida Burlone, Elvira Branciforte, Constance Burlone, and Eleanor Saniga.
Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and services are private. Arrangements are entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
