Cheryl J. Mungai, 77, of Hickory, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

She was born April 25, 1944 in Canonsburg, a daughter of William and Helen Chappo Burt.
Cheryl was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She enjoyed reading and watching Pittsburgh Penguins Hockey.

Surviving are her sons, Robert Posega of Hickory, Bill (Helen) Mungai of Lake Charles, LA, Dan Mungai of Hickory, her daughter, Susan (Don) Davis of Hickory, two grandchildren, Max Davis, and Destinee Davis, three great-grandchildren; Duke, Elsie, and Clay.

There will be no visitation and services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. Private interment will be in the Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
