Betty Jean DeJohn

Betty Jean DeJohn, 92, of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
She was born October 13, 1929, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Forney and Violet Huffman. 
Mrs. DeJohn worked as a nurse prior to her retirement. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and home maker. She enjoyed baking, gardening and most of all, spending time with her family.
On June 4, 1954, she married her husband, Thomas DeJohn, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Jeffrey T. (Ruth) DeJohn, of Hickory, and David A. (Louann) DeJohn, of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Alan (Lauren) DeJohn, and Chalese (Justin) Bess; step grandchildren, Matt Graham, Grayson Bess and Gerrad Klass; great grandchildren, Jax Parker and Willow Adeline DeJohn and Connor Farrell; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. DeJohn was the last of her immediate family, and was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters in addition to her parents.
