Andrea Amelia Raymer, 80, of Canonsburg, died Friday, March 28, 2025.
She was born January 25, 1945 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Albert and Janette Puchi Coleman. Andrea worked 38 years as a Teacher for Canon McMillian.
Mrs. Raymer was a faithful member of St. Oscar Romero Parish, and attended the Holy Rosary Church where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She took great pride in being a weekly reader at mass. She was also a member of Canon McMillan Ultra Society, Sarris Library Board, and a volunteer at Sarris Public Library. Andrea was a lifetime member of the Pennsylvania State Education Assoc. and the National Education Assoc. On August 12, 1967, she married her loving husband of over 57 years, Dennis Raymer, who passed away September 1, 2024.
Surviving is her brother, Ronald (Dennis Johnson) Coleman of Mt. Lebanon, PA, sister-in-law, Linda Coleman, Margaret Rock, nieces and nephews, Matthew (Marnie) Coleman, Rachel (Jeffrey) Infield, LeAnn Scheffler, Carla Koleny, Christopher (Rachel) Rock, Christine (John) Shea, several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Raymer.
Friends will be received Friday, 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Departing prayers will be held at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, 10am in Holy Rosary Church, Muse. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the Frank Sarris Public Library, in Andrea Raymer's name.
