Jean Fletcher, resident of Premier Washington Health Center, Meadowlands, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2021, with her daughter and granddaughter, Nicole, by her side, at the age of 96. She was born April 24, 1925, in Trenton, Georgia. She was the daughter of James and Alma Whitt Case of Trenton, Georgia.

She left home and went to Florida State University, majoring in criminology and sociology. She would use her sociology degree to minister to many friends around the world. She never passed an opportunity to help or give to others in need. She loved art and was a beautiful painter. She had taught and owned an art store in McMurray. She would love to give away  her creations to many friends and family.
Jean loved all things nature. She would rescue all the animals dropped off at her home and spend hours watching birds. She had a green thumb and would spend hours in her flower beds or in her garden. Jean was a wonderful baker and was known for her blackberry pies, yellow cake with fudge icing and homemade ice cream.
She journaled  daily and went on to write three published books about her life lessons and GOD.
Jean lived an adventurous life where she traveled the world. She loved spending her time in Malta with her longtime friend, George Foley.

Surviving are her sons, Paddy (Patti) Graves, and Kevin "David" (Martha) Fletcher; her daughter, Kevinda (Dan) Strimel; step-sons, William and Michael Fletcher;  her grandchildren; Jessica Graves, Dani(Caique) Moreno, Chad (Raeanna) Strimel, Nicole (Nathan) Terling, Danielle (Tim) Bombash, Lee (Melissa) Fletcher, Tiffiny Fletcher, Ashley Malpassi, Shawn Fletcher;  her great-grandchildren; Jesse and Lola Bianco, Seth Strimel, Gunnar Terling, Maverick Bombash, Liam Fletcher, Amity Malpassi, Cameron and Emery Fletcher; step brother; Gene Carter, her sister in law; Thelma Trask; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she called family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Milton Case and her son, Terry V. Graves.
