Monteka Marie Johnson

Monteka Marie Johnson, 22, of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 10, 2018 in her home.
She was born January 27, 1996, at St.Clair Hospital, a daughter of  Lamont Johnson and Rebecca Dvorak. 
Monteka was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg. She was a dedicated student pursuing her career as a pharmacist and proudly strived to be the best when it came to furthering her education. She was a phenomenal person and used her positive, effervescent energy to lift the spirit of every person she met. She enjoyed cheerleading dancing, traveling, adrenaline chasing and sharing her positive energy with the world.  
Surviving are her mother, Rebecca Dvorak, of Canonsburg; her father, Lamont Johnson, of Canonsburg; brother, Lamont W. Johnson of Canonsburg; sister, Monique N. Johnson of Canonsburg; maternal grandparents, William M. And Gloria Dvorak of Canonsburg, paternal grandmother, Linda Ebore of Washington, nieces Rayella and Laylynn, nephew Lamont, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Anthony Johnson and maternal great grandmother Bertha Quaresima.
Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-9pm at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Additional visitation will be held Wednesday 11:30AM to 12:30 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with funeral services Wednesday at 12:30pm, with Pastor Anita Lovell, officiating.
