Mary Karavolis, 87, of Canonsburg, died Friday, November 30, 2018.
She was born November 23, 1931, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Miltiades and Artemis Pangadakis Mantalis.
Mary was a member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church.
She was a 1950 graduate of Canonsburg High School.
Prior to her retirement, Mary worked as a sales associate at Macys, for 18 years.
Surviving are her sons, Luke Karavolis, and his wife, Lori, of McMurray, Mike Karavolis, of Rehoboth, Massachusetts; her daughter, Artemis Fink, and her husband Todd, of Upper St. Clair; brother, Gus Mantalis, and his wife Rose, of Canonsburg; sister, Ann Koutavas, of St. Augustine, Florida; 8 grandchildren, Mallory (Brett) Lacey, Meredith Karavolis, Marlena Karavolis, Luke Karavolis, Jr., Zoe Karavolis, Nick Karavolis, Alex (Jerry) Whitmore, Alivia Fink; 2 great-grandchildren, Weston and Brooks Whitmore; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Karavolis, her sister, Frances Loutsion, and her brother, George Mantalis.
Friends will be received Sunday 4-8pm and Monday 10-11 am in the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Rd., Canonsburg. Trisagion services will be held at 7 pm on Sunday. Funeral services will be held at All Saint's Greek Orthodox Church, Monday, at 11am with Fr. George L. Livanos officiating, followed by burial in the Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
