Mark D. Batista, 59, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 in his home after a brief illness.
He was born April 3, 1959, in Canonsburg, a son of Richard Edward Batista and Beverly Jean Pushkar Batista.
Mark was a life long resident of Canonsburg. He graduated from Canon-McMillan High School Class of 1977. Earlier in life, he was employed by Sarris Candies. In later years, he worked for Gateway Computer Corporation, and lastly as a casino dealer at the Meadows Racetrack. He was a member of the SNPJ in Strabane, and the VFW Post #191 in Canonsburg.
Mark was never married and had no children. He was preceded in death by his father, and his brother Richard Miles Batista. Surviving are his mother, living in Tuscon, Arizona, and his brother, David Batista, living in Los Gatos, California.
