Elizabeth Ann Bombash, 87, of Claysville, died Saturday, July 7, 2018.
She was born August 23, 1930, in Erie, a daughter of William and Alta Mary Hopkins Connors.
Ms. Bombash was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Washington. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing word-searches, playing on her I pad, and was active at Senior Life in Washington. She loved her Australian Blue Heeler, Kate.
On October 27, 1952, she married her husband, Andrew J. Bombash, Jr., who died April 24, 2010.
Prior to her retirement, she last worked in the Deli at Giant Eagle.
Surviving are her sons, Andrew J. Bombash, III, of North Strabane, Richard (Tomoko) Bombash, of Japan, Christopher Bombash, of Washington; her daughters, Mary (Leonard) Bercosky, of Marianna, Barbara Bombash, of Washington; sister, Katherine (Arnold) Counts; 9 grandchildren, Timothy (Danielle) Bombash, Patrick Bombash, Heather Bercosky, Russell Bercosky, Elizabeth (Milo) Barringon, Kayla Durbin, Junko (Suehiro) Morikubo, Melinda (Preston) Carmichael, Christopher Bombash, Jr.; 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Weunski, Margaret Matters, Rose Boyd, Dorothy Connors; brothers, William Connors, John (Jack) Connors, Richard Connors, and her daughter in law, Joy Bombash.
Friends will be received Tuesday, 4-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held Wednesday in the funeral home at 10am.
Interment will follow in the Claysville Cemetery, Claysville.
