Wilbur C. "Web" Holt, 88, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, June 24, 2017.

He was born September 19, 1928, in Canonsburg, a son of Butler Matthew and Mary Elizabeth Noblit Holt.

Mr. Holt was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, where he was active in the men's club and ushered the 10:30am mass on Sunday. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a union carpenter for over 50 years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

On August 19, 1950, he married his loving wife of over 66 years, Claudia DiCio Holt, who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Edward Holt, and his wife Evelyn, of Canonsburg, Wilbur Holt, Jr., and his wife JoAnn, of Washington; daughter, Robin Harrison, and her husband Malcolm, of Walnut Creek, California; brother, Donald "Jim" Holt, of Avella; 4 grandchildren, Kayla Holt, Jenna Holt, Brian (Stephanie) Holt, Julia Harrison; great grandchild, Elizabeth Holt; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Herbert and Howard Holt.

Friends will be received Friday, June 30, 2017, 2-4 and 6-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.

Departing prayer service will be held in the funeral home, Saturday at 9am, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, in St. Patrick Church on Saturday, at 9:30am.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
