Theresa Frances Broglia, 102, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016, in Strabane Woods.

She was born February 12, 1914, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Philip and Rose Molinaro Imperatore.

Theresa was a member of the former St. Genevieve's Church, and St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, where she was active with the Christian Mothers, and served several terms as past President.

She served as a past judge on the Canonsburg Board of Elections.

Theresa graduated from Canonsburg High School, and worked the assembly line at RCA in her younger years. She was a proud and dedicated homemaker, and was well known for how she opened her heart and her home to all. Theresa loved playing cards, and played in a card club for 70 years and was known as "The Shark" She was an avid baseball and basketball fan and loved her Pirates and Celtics.

On November 22, 1936, she married Dominic T. Broglia, with whom she shared over 42 years of marriage until his death on July 28, 1979.

Surviving are her son, Dominic "Stogie" Broglia, and his wife Shirley, of McDonald; daughter, Anita "Cookie" Stopperich, and her husband Robert, of Canonsburg; sister, Nancy Sobolewski, of Canonsburg; 5 grandchildren, Dominic, Lauren (Mario) Giovanni, P. Shawn (Lauren) Stopperich, R. Todd Stopperich, Bradley Stopperich; 13 great-grandchildren, Dominic, Mario (Annekin), Angelo, Bella, Grant, Paige, Tatum, Cameron, Alec, Aidan, Carson, Ingrid, Jillian; 1 great-great-grandchild, Myah; special nieces, Nancy Moninger and Vikki Young; special nephew, John Sobolewski; special former granddaughter-in-law, Mary Jane Broglia; several nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and Joseph "Scubby" Imperatore.

Friends will be received Sunday 1-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.

Departing prayers Monday at 9:30am in the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian burial, in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg, Monday at 10am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
