Rae Ann Boyle, 67, of Houston, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016, in Canonsburg General Hospital.

She was born December 9, 1948, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Fernal and Betty Land Pierson.

Rae Ann had been employed as a cashier at the Giant Eagle in Washington, and the B.P. on Racetrack Road prior to her retirement.

She liked cooking, baking cookies, enjoyed taking pictures and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son, Patrick Boyle, of Houston; daughters, Michele Humphreys of Washington, and Lisa Humphreys of Meadowlands; brothers, Joseph Pierson and David Pierson, both of Houston; grandchildren, Brandon Shuman, Ryan Markham, Teonna McClain; great-grandchildren, Kainan McClain and Laylah Strejcek.

Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.

Additional visitation will be held Tuesday, 9-11am. Funeral service Tuesday at 11am, in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Robinson 's Run Cemetery, McDonald.
