Mary Josephine "Jessie M" Mirisciotta, 95, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, February 16, 2017.

She was born April 18, 1921, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Guiseppie and Frances Farrel Grego.

She was a member of St. Patrick Church. Jessie was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and especially spending time with her family.

On November 7, 1946, she married her loving husband of over 67 years, Gasper Anthony Mirisciotta, who passed away July 5, 2014.

Surviving are her sons, Guy Anthony "Tony" Mirisciotta, and his wife Teresa, of Washington, Christopher Allen Mirisciotta, and his wife Tracy, of Canonsburg; daughter, Frances Amelia Brady, and her husband Terry, of Perryopolis; grandchildren, Melissa Clark, Anthony Mirisciotta, Gabrielle Mirisciotta, Gasper Mirisciotta,

great grandchild, Tylor; several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Jessie was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Chester, and James Grego; and her sister, Jean Grego.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 21, at 11:30am, in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg, followed by burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
