Mary Vlachos, 89, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, July 20, 2017.

She was born July 27, 1927, in Lindos, Rhodes, Greece, a daughter of Spiros and Marietta Sarikakis.

She was a member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Canonsburg, where she was active with the Philoptchios.

Mary was a 1946 graduate of Canonsburg High School.

On October 20, 1963, she married, Chris Vlachos, who died April 3, 1983.

Mary was as dedicated wife and homemaker.

Surviving are her sister, Bessie Scouloukas and her husband, Nick, of Canonsburg; two nieces, Marjorie (Greg) Severyn, Doreen (Victor) Vendetti; nephew, Sam (Ana)Scouloukas, 3 great nieces, and 3 great nephews.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 8pm in the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000. Trisagion service at 7pm. Additional visitation will be held Monday 10 to 11am, in the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 West McMurray Road, Canonsburg. Services will be held at 11am in the church, with Fr. George L. Livanos, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
