Louis L. Molinko, 92, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, September 16, 2017.
He was born February 12, 1925, in Molinar, a son of Louis and Margaret Drotos Molinko.
Mr. Molinko was a member of Holy Rosary Parish, Muse.
He proudly served his country with the United States Army during WWII.
Prior to his retirement, he worked at Universal Cyclops as a steel worker. Mr. Molinko was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time at his camp.
On August 11, 1962, he married his loving wife of over 55 years, Florence Klamut Molinko, who survives. Also surviving are his brother, Joseph Sprence, and his wife, Pauline, of Canonsburg; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Molinko, Steve Sprence; and his sisters, Margaret Molinko and Betty Dukis.
Friends will be received Monday, 2-4 and 6-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Departing prayer service will be held in the funeral home, Tuesday, at 9:15am, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, in Holy Rosary Church, Muse. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cecil, with full military honors accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 191 honor guard.
