Lola J. Pitcock Surich Sollon, 79, of Washington, died Monday, September 5, 2016.
She was born August 18, 1937, in Houston, a daughter of Basil and Flora Stewart Pitcock.
Lola worked as a home health care provider. She was an avid Steelers Football, Pirates Baseball, and Penguin Hockey fan.
Surviving are her son, Thomas Surich, and his wife Connie, of Washington; daughters, Deborah Edge and her husband, Keith of Washington, Valerie Roskosh and her husband Bob,of Greensburg, Tina Garove and her husband, Dennis, of Washington; brother, Bob Pitcock, and his wife, Andrea, of Houston; sisters, Rosalie DeRosa, and her husband Art, of Washington, and Betty Pitcock; 11 grandchildren, Richard (Tina) Bedillion, Whitney (Louie) Hayman, Brooke Trunzo, Monica Garove, Troy (Sarah Fuller) Garove, Krista Surich, Andy Roskosh, Alex Roskosh, Krista (Kent) Jeffries, Andrew Stolz, and Matthew Stolz; 11 great-grandchildren, Dalton, Remington, Hunter, Greg, Giuliana, Dominic, Trevor, Ian, Hazel, Brayden, and Claire; several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her brothers, Irvin, John William, and Lonnie "Hitch" Pitcock; sisters, Anna Dillie, and Ida Ashton.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-8pm at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held in the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., on Thursday, at 11:00am.
Interment will follow in the Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
