Joseph William Maceiko, 85, of Canonsburg, died Monday, July 25, 2016 in his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born January 2, 1931, in Canonsburg, a son of Nicholas and Mary Lazor Maceiko.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Maceiko worked in the maintance department for McGraw Edison.

He was a member of St. John Russian Orthodox Church, Canonsburg. He enjoyed gardening and growing tomatoes. He was a member of the White Eagles, and the Slovak Club.

Surviving are his sons, Bill Maceiko, of Tidioute, Randy Maceiko of Canonsburg, Mark Maceiko, and his wife Alma, of Uniontown; daughters, Karen Braun of Canonsburg, Doris Ann Davis, and her husband David, of Venetia; grandchildren, Heather, Derek (Donna), Doug (Caitlin), Randy, Brandon, Brian, Jason (Christina), Erik (Brandy), Joshua, Chelsea (Scott), Austin, Christian, Daniel, Noah, Matthew; 10 great grandchildren, sister in law, Fran Maceiko, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Patricia L. McAnany Maceiko; sisters, Helen Bobble, Anne Roskowski; brothers, Steve and Michael Maceiko.

Friends will received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.

Services will be held Thursday at 9am in the funeral home, with Pastor Peter Malik, officiating.

Interment will follow Forest Lawn Gardens.
