Gary Edward Polosky, 61, of Strabane, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, in his home.

He was born October 8, 1954 in Canonsburg, a son of Leonard and Jennie Volen Polosky.

Prior to his retirement, he sold life insurance. He was a member of St. Patrick Parish, Canonsburg.

Mr. Polosky enjoyed fishing and bird watching, and was an avid Steelers and Pitt football fan, and Pirates baseball fan.

Surviving are his mother, Jennie Volen Polosky, of Strabane; his son, David Polosky, and his wife Denee Renz, of Venetia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard E. Polosky.

Friends will be received Friday, 10am - Noon, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.

Blessing services will be held at Noon, on Friday in the Sollon Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.
