David Stutts, 88, of McMurray, Thursday, December 1, 2016.

He was born September 16, 1928, in Muse, a son of George and Helen Gasparic Stutts.

He was an active member of St. Benedict the Abbot Church for 54 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Stutts proudly served his country with the United States Army.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Stutts worked in the mines, and also worked as a surveyor for Engelhart and Power Surveying.

On February 7, 1957, he married his loving wife of over 59 years, Kay Power Stutts, who survives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Joseph, John ,James, Wilbur "Red", and William Stutts, and one sister, Helen Phillips.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 5, 2016 at St. Benedict the Abbot Church, at 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, at 11:00.

Burial will be private.
