Catherine F. "Cass" Mack, 85, of Hendersonville, died Saturday, October 1, 2016.

She was born January 28, 1931, in Hendersonville, a daughter of Matthew and Florence McIntyre Mack.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing and traveling.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as an office manager for Bell Telephone.

Surviving are her nieces, Pamela (William) Nixon, of Avella, Susan (James) Albitz, of Venetia, Virginia (Daniel) Watkins, of Cecil, Kathleen (Robert) Panelli, of Canonsburg, great-nephews, Gregory Gayarski, Jonathan Watkins, Matthew Watkins, Nathan Albitz, Evan Albitz, Dario Panelli; great-niece, Giada Panelli; great-great niece, Emma Gayarski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Archibald and Robert Mack.

Friends will be received Sunday, October 9, 2016, from 2-6pm, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh PA, 15243, in Catherine's name, or the Washington Area Humane Society, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
